Imagine a musical tale that began in the enchanting city of Coro, Falcon State, Venezuela. It was there that I discovered my passion for the violin, nurtured by the inspiring National Youth Orchestra of Venezuela. Guided by the esteemed Maestros Francisco Díaz and José Francisco del Castillo, I embarked on a remarkable musical odyssey that shaped my artistic journey.
From humble beginnings, my path led me to traverse the orchestral landscape, from the head to the second violins, eventually becoming the concertmaster and guest conductor of the prestigious Falcon State Symphony Orchestra. Seeking to further expand my musical horizons, I continued my professional education in the vibrant city of Caracas and have now made my home in the vibrant cultural melting pot of CDMX.
My quest for musical excellence extended beyond borders. As an active student, I had the privilege of learning under the guidance of Maestro Jose Luis Garcia Ascencio in a summer course sponsored by the esteemed Conservatory "Reina Sofia" in Santander, Spain. This experience, generously supported by the Foundation Mozarteum Venezuela, opened doors to a world of musical exploration.
Throughout my homeland, I honed my craft in violin, conducting, and chamber music with renowned figures such as Maestro Sung Kwak, Raimondas Butvila, Mario Bencecry, Ana Ruth Bermudez, and Bruno Aprea, among others. Their guidance ignited my creative spirit and deepened my understanding of the power of music.
As a composer, arranger, and orchestrator, I have been fortunate to witness my works come to life, both within and beyond the borders of my homeland. Renowned figures such as Maestros Eduardo Marturet, William Molina, Edicson Ruiz, Eddy Marcano, and Francisco Flores have embraced my compositions, recording them with great success in the United States and Europe.
Venturing into the realm of conducting, I have dedicated myself to the pedagogical work of "El Sistema" ("The System"), a transformative program for children and youth orchestras created by the visionary Maestro José Antonio Abreu. Through orchestral seminars and workshops held nationally and internationally, I have had the privilege of nurturing young talent and witnessing the magic of music unfold before my eyes.
My journey as a violinist has also led me to become a member of the illustrious Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, where I currently serve as the Principal of Second Violins. Additionally, I have had the honor of guest conducting and performing as a soloist with symphony orchestras throughout my beloved country.
Among the many chapters of my musical adventure, two defining moments stand out: my participation in the II International Conducting Competition of the "Serge Lunchevici" Philharmonic in Chisinau, Moldova, and the "Black Sea" Conducting Competition in Constanta, Romania. These unforgettable experiences rewarded me with the 3rd prize in both competitions, further fueling my passion for the art of conducting.

With over 30 years of experience as a conductor, soloist, and violinist, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my teaching. My passion for music is evident in my nationally and internationally recognized awards, including the prestigious International Orchestral Conducting Competition and the Black Sea Conducting Competition.
As a professional musician and effective communicator, I strive to create a relaxed and engaging learning environment. My approach to teaching is centred around understanding the score, honing performance skills, and cultivating a deep appreciation for music. Whether it's composing, arranging, or conducting, I possess a versatile skill set that adds depth and creativity to my lessons.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with various artists and have contributed to numerous classical and popular music records. These experiences have not only enriched my musicality but have also sharpened my interpersonal skills, allowing me to build strong relationships with my students.
In addition to my orchestral experience, I have dedicated myself to teaching the violin. I have taught at esteemed institutions such as the Music Conservatory "Santa Ana de Coro" and have been actively involved with Venezuela's renowned "El Sistema," conducting ensemble orchestras across the country. My passion for sharing music has even taken me on a music mission to Cusco & Puno, Peru.
In my lessons, I emphasize continuous training and learning, ensuring that my teaching methods evolve with the changing musical landscape. My goal is to inspire and empower my students, helping them unlock their full potential as musicians.
