About

I’m a professional classical singer with over ten years of experience performing as a soloist and choral singer across Canada. Teaching is a natural extension of my passion for music, and I truly enjoy helping students develop their voices and express themselves through singing. I hold a Master’s Degree in Voice from the University of Toronto, with specialized training in Baroque music, though I enjoy working on a variety of musical styles. My teaching approach focuses on building strong technique while nurturing each student’s unique musicality. Whether you're an adult beginner, someone returning to singing, or looking to refine your skills, I look forward to supporting your musical journey!

Teaching Style

My teaching style focuses on helping students build a solid technical foundation while encouraging individual artistic expression. I believe in nurturing a student’s strengths while helping them overcome challenges in a supportive and encouraging way. Lessons are tailored to each student’s unique goals and needs, and I incorporate a mix of vocal exercises, breath work, and repertoire that suits your voice and interests.

I enjoy working with students on both classical and contemporary music, and I’m especially passionate about helping you find your authentic voice. I also love incorporating music from different genres and cultures, making lessons a creative and enjoyable experience. My goal is to help you not only improve your vocal technique but also develop a deep connection to the music you’re singing.

Curriculum

I enjoy working with students of all ages, but I have a particular affinity for adult beginners and older adults. My teaching approach is flexible and tailored to each student’s goals, focusing on building a solid vocal technique and fostering a love for music. While I specialize in interpreting Baroque music, I teach a wide range of styles, including classical, choral, and contemporary repertoire. With my extensive experience as a professional choral singer, I can also help students prepare choral repertoire and work on musicianship skills like sight-singing, blending, and harmonizing.
