Rene really knows what he is doing. My first lesson was really just covering the basics of how to train my voice. I'm a raw beginner and felt like the lesson was perfect for me and will give me a lot to work on until my lesson next week.

From the first lesson, not only did I come away with more confidence and hope in what my voice can do, but feeling that this guy really cares. Only had a couple lessons with him, 2 in fact. By the second one I was already reaching notes I couldn't the last time. Rene is such a good teacher. Even when my fingers slip and I have to play the same melody five times, he’s incredibly encouraging. He’s very flexible with my schedule as well, and is willing to work with me when situations arise. I wouldn’t want any other teacher!

Rene is incredibly knowledgeable but that doesn’t prevent him from breaking down the basics to help me as a beginning singer. He’s very informative, explaining the why and the how, and doing so in a way that’s easy to understand. It’s helping me establish the foundations of musicality while working on the physicality of developing my muscles, mind and body, to be successful with this new skill. Aside from the art/skill of singing, Rene has been patient and flexible with my nomadic lifestyle, which can be susceptible to weather, connectivity, and a myriad of other disruptions. I don’t wish him another student in my circumstances, but he’s been willing to work with mine!
