Teaching Style
My teaching style is based on the Song and Wind philosophy of the renowned tubist Arnold Jacobs. In my classes breathing and singing are essential in order to get a centered sound in the instrument. Furthermore, I emphasize in developing flexibility and clear articulation in trombone playing.
For music theory my teaching style is dynamic. I emphasize music terms and music reading in my lessons.
Curriculum
Call and response method.
My recommended student texts are Max Schlossberg daily drills, Arbans Method, The Remington Warm Up Studies, Phrasing Studies by Cimera, Melodious Etudes by Rochut and others related.
