WHO I AM

I'm not a coach who teaches from a textbook.

I'm a New York City-based performance coach, singer-songwriter, author, actress, and speaker who has spent decades actually DOING the work I teach.

Seven albums recorded. Four books published. Countless stages commanded. A creative life built across music, theater, writing, coaching and speaking.

When I coach you, I'm drawing from my own lived experience — not theory.

WHO I WORK WITH

Singers pursuing professional careers who are ready to take their craft to the stage
Actors preparing for Broadway auditions, conservatory programs, or career-defining roles
Executives and entrepreneurs who need to command a boardroom with the same presence as a performer commands a stage
Public speakers and TEDX presenters developing vocal authority and authentic delivery
Trial attorneys who need to persuade, captivate, and hold a jury's attention
Creatives at any stage who are done playing small and ready to own their voice

WHAT MAKES MY COACHING DIFFERENT

I work with the WHOLE performer, not just technique.

I am a PERFORMANCE COACH. Singers and Actors should be technically proficient and ready to go DEEPER.

If you SING, or PERFORM, and something is holding you back from owning the stage with full power, that's where I come in.

If you want to hone your PUBLIC SPEAKING or PRESENTATION STYLE, I am your person.

We will break through fear, self-doubt, and the internal gatekeepers that keep you from the performances you're fully capable of giving.

SESSIONS

In-person: New York City
Virtual: Anywhere

Ready? Let's work.

Teaching Style

CHANGE YOUR THINKING, CHANGE YOUR LIFE - Your success is an inside out job.

Warming up the voice and body with the awareness that acting, singing, performing and public speaking are a full body, mind experience.

Identify challenges

Work through challenges using technique, relaxation, visualization, and mindset skills (i.e fixed mindset to growth mindset)

Require clients (actors, singers) to come to session prepared with their material memorized. Public speakers and other presenters will be given material to work with unless they have specific materials they want to work on.

Clients must commit to practicing in between sessions.

Credentials & Affiliations

I bring over 25 years of teaching, coaching, speaking and facilitating audition and musical theater workshops, including a tenure as Artistic Director of a theater, where I curated seasons, directed productions, and developed emerging artists.

But I'm not just a coach. I'm a working artist.

I've performed across New York City, the United States, and Europe as a singer, actress, speaker and songwriter. I've recorded seven albums (with an eighth on the way). I've shared stages with Woodstock legend Richie Havens, Grammy winner Keb Mo, and chart-topping band Five for Fighting.

I've appeared at NYC's JVC Jazz Festival, charted on Billboard alongside K.D Lang and Emmylou Harris, and had my song Hard Left featured on the CBS hit comedy How I Met Your Mother.

I've studied voice, piano, guitar, ukulele, and acting since age fifteen, not as hobbies, but as the foundation of a lifelong professional practice.

I graduated from Hamilton College with a liberal arts degree that taught me how to think critically, communicate powerfully, and synthesize ideas across disciplines  - skills that inform every coaching session I lead.

THE POINT

When you work with me, you're not working with someone who studied performance and then stopped.

You're working with someone who is still performing, still recording, still speaking and still leading creative life at the highest level.

I teach what I live.
