Rod Ferreira is a seasoned guitarist, composer, and producer with a rich performance history across the United States. He has shared the stage with a wide range of talented musicians and has recorded several albums, showcasing his versatility across genres.
Originally from Brazil, Rod holds diplomas in guitar, piano, bass, harmonica, and music theory. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Music from the University of North Dakota, where he also began teaching guitar at music schools and private studios. His passion for education led him to write three comprehensive guitar guides, aimed at helping students build a solid musical foundation.
Rod brings years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're picking up the guitar for the first time or looking to sharpen your technique, Rod creates engaging, personalized lessons that make learning music fun and effective.
Teaching Style
Rod’s teaching style involves making sure the student is having fun with the instrument while developing their skills. Rod develops a special program for every student targeting what the student wants to learn - from beginner to the advanced Rod can help you to become the musician you want to be.
