About
Hello! My name is Roman, and I’m a guitar teacher with over 20 years of experience.
I offer acoustic, classical, and electric guitar lessons in Russian for students of all ages—from beginners to advanced players. My lessons are available online worldwide.
I have a background in classical guitar education and have developed my own unique teaching method over the years. In addition to classical training, I have always played electric guitar and studied with well-known guitarists to continuously grow my skills.
As an active musician, I participate in various musical projects, both as a guitarist and a ghost music producer. I’m constantly improving my technical and performance level to stay in shape as a performer.
Over the years, I’ve taught students from age 6 to 60 across the globe. Some of my students have gone on to become professional musicians.

Teaching Style
My teaching style is personalized, flexible, and focused on what inspires each student.
I use my own original teaching method, which I adapt individually to every student’s goals, musical taste, and skill level. My lessons are designed to be both enjoyable and effective.
I guarantee that every student will be able to play their favorite songs or musical pieces—whether on acoustic, classical, or electric guitar. We can also explore improvisation in various styles, depending on your interests.
If you’re interested in learning music theory or reading notation, we can include that too. Nothing is forced—only the knowledge and skills that are relevant and useful for your musical journey.

In my lessons, we focus only on what truly interests you—no unnecessary theory, no outdated classical methods. I believe learning should be inspiring, enjoyable, and practical.
If you’re a complete beginner but have a guitar and the desire to learn, just give it a try—I’ll guide you step by step. If you already have experience, I’ll help you expand your musical horizons and simplify the more complex techniques the guitar is known for.
I don’t rely on standard textbooks or rigid curriculums. Instead, I customize each lesson to fit your goals, musical preferences, and style. We’ll build your skills around the music you love—and every guitarist should have a few favorite songs ready to play anytime!
Credentials & Affiliations
I graduated in 2000 from the Moscow State Specialized Institute of Arts with a degree in Guitar Performance and Pedagogy. From 1995 to 2015, I worked as a guitar teacher at the Astrum Children’s Art House in Moscow, located on Kutuzovsky Prospekt.
In addition to my teaching career, I’ve worked with private students both offline and online across the world.
As a musician, I’ve recorded guitar parts for numerous music and film projects. In 2010, the film “Way Back”, directed by Ehab Hegazi and featuring my guitar recordings, won third place at the Los Angeles International Student Film Festival.
Throughout my musical career, I have also contributed to several soundtracks for Russian TV series and commercials.
