About

I am a harpist and music educator with more than 10 years of experience teaching and performing internationally. My musical path bridges classical training, world music traditions, and creative exploration.

I have performed in symphony orchestras and cultural festivals, and worked as a soloist and as part of duos and ensembles in Argentina, Turkey, and India. I currently live in Lisbon, Portugal, where I continue to teach and perform.

In addition to my formal studies in classical music and theatre, I’ve studied Celtic harp, Indian classical music, and improvisation. I’ve also led artistic projects focused on community and inclusion, and received scholarships from national arts organizations for my pedagogical and creative work.

Teaching Style

My teaching style is creative, empathetic, and student-centered. I adapt to each student’s goals, background, and learning rhythm, offering personalized tools to build both technique and musicality.

I love helping students find their own musical voice—whether they’re learning to read sheet music, exploring folk tunes, or diving into improvisation.

I create a welcoming and encouraging space for people of all ages and levels. I also bring experience in inclusive education, and I’m happy to adapt my lessons for students with specific needs or neurodivergent profiles.

I combine formal methods with custom materials I prepare for each student, based on their musical interests and level.

For creative exploration, I use rhythm games, body percussion, basic looping, and guided improvisation techniques.

Curriculum

For classical harp beginners, I often use:

  • Metodo per Arpa by Maria Grossi

  • Suzuki Harp School (Volumes 1–3)

  • ABC du Harpiste by Henriette Renié

  • Méthode pour Harpe by Marcel Grandjany

  • Exercises and etudes by Salzedo, Bochsa, and others

For Celtic harp, I work with:

  • Folk tunes and traditional melodies (Irish, Breton, South American, etc.)

  • Arrangements by Kim Robertson, Sue Richards, and Sylvia Woods

  • Improvisation and chord-based learning for accompaniment or solo playing

I combine formal methods with custom materials I prepare for each student, based on their musical interests and level.

For creative exploration, I use rhythm games, body percussion, basic looping, and guided improvisation techniques.
