With a degree in Music and top-tier training from some of the industry's best singing teachers, Seth possesses a vast knowledge of various musical styles. He is equipped to help you elevate your singing skills to the next level.
Throughout his career, Seth has trained and developed countless musicians who have achieved significant success, including platinum-selling and top-ten artists. His expertise spans multiple genres, having performed with bands in Jazz, Classical, Pop, Rock, Funk, Folk, and Gospel.

Teaching Style
MUSIC EDUCATOR:
1998-1999:
Teacher at the Free State Musicon, a music institution for school kids.
2008-2016:
Head of the Music Department at the Christian Revival Church, one of the largest churches in South Africa. I established the CRC School of Music, where I trained and developed numerous vocalists, songwriters, and musicians.
2010-present:
Freelance vocal instructor. I have been a vocal trainer to Juanita de Plessis, South Africa's top-selling vocalist, as well as her children. Other artists I have worked with include Craig Banks, Merldy B, and Loyiso.
PERFORMER:
Session musician for bands - Boomslang, Voel, CRC Radiation, Jazz bands, Ystervark and church worship groups
Performed at most of the major music festivals in South Africa (Oppikoppi, Klein Karoo National Arts Festival, Up the Creek Festival, Knysna Oyster Festival)
SONGWRITING:
I am an award-winning songwriter with over 12 years of experience as a songwriting teacher.
PIANO:
I hold a degree in Jazz, specializing in Piano and Saxophone as my primary instruments. With over 20 years of experience, I have worked extensively as a session musician.
Curriculum
My teaching method is based on the renowned Speech Level Singing technique developed by the famous Seth Riggs, whose students have collectively won an unmatched 137 Grammy Awards. I teach students of all ages and levels, across every style and sound, with immediate results, whether you are a beginner or looking to strengthen and improve your technique.
Classes are designed to be fun, creative, and stimulating while maintaining structure and focus. It is important to set a clear goal for each lesson, which is then reinforced throughout the week with targeted exercises.
Lessons include vocalizing exercises aimed at improving and strengthening your vocal range with proper technique. Every student learns how to sing, including how to effectively prepare for a song.
