Sevag Kouyoumjian

I am a pro bassist for over 20 years, who performed with variety of local and international bands and singers, as well as I teach bass guitar, for more than 10 years, on all levels (beginner to advanced). Currently teaching bass guitar and piano for beginners at Resurrection Music Academy. I studied Jazz music in the National Conservatory of Lebanon and been exposed to lots of international teachers and musicians through Jazz Workshops held in Lebanon. Though specialized in Jazz, I can play and teach all kind of genres and rhythms in order to improve your grooving. I am very easy in teaching, making it fun. Anyone can reach with me to pro level and very soon when he/she is serious. I hold a Music Theory Grade 5 Certificate, with distinction, from ABRSM. 

I'm currently Music Trainer and Music Director at Resurrection Church, Beirut, Lebanon. I've run so many projects and recordings where I arranged and written down the notes of all the instruments. I have participated in the Internation Jazz Festival back in 2016, where I played along an international jazz pianist called Arthur Satyan. I am certified music producer as well, and I produce freelance music upon need and inquiry.

Along of my technical and practical teachings, I teach harmony and chords in both instruments because they are keys to progress and become better musician/player.
