Shakhrom Murodov
About
Hello! My name is Shakhrom Murodov. I am a pianist from Uzbekistan, now studying for my Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Alabama. I also hold a Master’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa and have many years of experience performing and working as a collaborative pianist. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and helping them build strong technique, musicality, and confidence at the piano. I always try to create a friendly and supportive learning environment.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is patient, clear, and encouraging. I focus on good technique, healthy hand position, slow practice, and musical expression. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level and goals.
Curriculum
I use a combination of classical piano methods and modern approaches. For beginners, I often use Alfred’s or Faber books. For more advanced students, I use Czerny, Hanon, Burgmüller, and a wide range of classical repertoire. I choose materials individually for each student so they can grow comfortably and enjoy the music.
