About
I am a graduate of the Juilliard School, where I studied vocal performance. I have had the privilege of performing as a soloist at renowned venues such as the Kennedy Center, David Geffen Hall, The Harvard Club of New York, the US Capitol, Kaufman Music Center, etc. A memorable highlight of my career was singing for Clive Davis, Whitney Houston’s manager, on his 92nd birthday. I believe that singing holds the transformative power to heal the soul, and I am passionate about providing every student with the opportunity to grow as a vocalist and express themselves authentically. I teach students of all levels and foster a nurturing, environment that encourages healthy vocal development. My goal is to help each student reach their full potential, all while inspiring them to fall deeper in love with their own unique voice.
Teaching Style
My teaching approach is deeply influenced by the guidance I received during my time at Juilliard. I begin each lesson with a warm-up, then progress to repertoire that fosters each student’s technical growth. Rooted in classical training, my method emphasizes breath support and proper technique as the foundation for singing any style from opera, musical theatre, pop, etc, with strength and accuracy. After lessons students will be given new repertoire to work on or expected to practice technical approaches we discussed in our lessons. Students will be expected to read articles about vocal anatomy to help them better understand their instrument. Additionally, for students interested in auditioning for college programs, I provide guidance on repertoire selection and offer valuable advice to help them successfully gain admission.
