Hello! My name is Sultaanah, and I am a qualified TEFL teacher with a strong passion for teaching young learners.
I specialize in working with children in the early years and primary levels, helping them build confidence in English through fun, interactive, and supportive lessons. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and adapted to each child’s pace and learning style.
I have experience teaching children one-on-one and in small groups, focusing on:

I use a calm and friendly approach while keeping lessons engaging and interactive. I adapt my teaching to each student’s level and learning pace, making sure lessons are enjoyable but also structured.
I focus on building confidence in speaking and understanding English, and I encourage students to participate actively without fear of making mistakes. Positive reinforcement and clear guidance are key parts of my teaching style.
Curriculum

My lessons typically include:

I focus on phonics, vocabulary, speaking, listening, and basic sentence building, depending on the child’s level. Lessons are adjusted to support beginners as well as students who want to improve confidence and fluency.
I use age-appropriate materials such as flashcards, visual aids, short reading texts, and interactive exercises. I am also happy to work with school materials or parent-preferred resources if provided.
Credentials & Affiliations
I am a qualified Level 5 TEFL teacher with a 168-hour Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificate from The TEFL Academy (UK).
I have experience teaching young learners, including children aged 3–9, through family and community tutoring. I focus on early English skills such as phonics, vocabulary, speaking, listening, and confidence building.
I continuously develop my teaching skills through lesson planning, child-focused methodologies, and practical teaching experience. I am committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment for every student.
