Hi!

My name is Tara! It's nice to meet you! I am so looking forward to helping you learn the piano. Not just the piano, but to enjoy playing the piano for yourself and others! Have you ever felt afraid of playing or just being in front of an audience? I can help give you tools to overcome those fears along with this new and exciting chapter in your life!

You see, I have one ear and was always afraid of being in front of people because of how I look! I am embarking on this journey myself as I progress in my ourney to overcoming fears. I still find myself feeling nervous too. It's okay because you are just wanting to enjoy sharing with others what you have learned!

Let's learn together the fear of being in front of people along with playing the piano. I have a Music degree from the University of North Florida. I have taught as a long term substitute not just for music, but for all different kinds of classes and grades for over three years in the public school system where I live. Talk about being front and center! =) 

I know many teachers love to teach the piano. Howeer, I think there is more than just teaching piano. I hope you'll give me a chance to help you to get over your fear of being in front of the audience so you can truly enjoy sharing what you are learning. I won't lie and say it's a "cake walk," (Did you know thit is a real title piece by Debussy?!)  However, with a little love and work you will truly be overjoyed in seeing how far you've come. And by all means, we will go however pace you want to set yourself.
