Teaching Style

His teaching philosophy is based on cultivating a strong foundation for aspiring drummers by focusing on essential elements such as drum placement, body posture, technique, rhythm comprehension, and understanding the instrument's role within a band.

With a primary emphasis on playing simple yet impactful grooves, he aims to lay the groundwork for students to thrive as versatile and sought-after drummers in the industry. His overarching objective is to instill in his students the ability to play with a compelling feel and effectively communicate with fellow musicians during ensemble performances, spanning multiple genres such as Pop, Rock, Jazz or Soul.

Recognizing the uniqueness of each student's learning abilities and aspirations, he tailors his approach individually. Through collaborative planning with students, he orchestrates a step-by-step progression aligned with their specific goals.

Central to his teaching philosophy is the integration of practical exercises involving playing along with songs and bass loops. This method not only enhances the student's synchronization with a bass player but also contributes to the development of a solid groove.

Thanos looks forward to the opportunity to guide individuals on their musical journeys, committed to fostering growth and helping them achieve excellence in their musical pursuits!
