About

Tiffany Wilkins is a graduate of the esteemed School of Music, Theater and Dance at University of Michigan. Her musical studies have been greatly enriched by summer festivals like Innsbrook Institute, Center Stage Strings, and Cambridge International String Academy and her teachers Helen Kim and Danielle Belen. As a St. Louis native, Tiffany was very involved in the Webster Preparatory Program during high school, actively working with and performing side by side some of the finest musicians in the country. There she was coached by members of the St. Louis Symphony, including David Halen and Heidi Harris. Because of this influence, she is an avid chamber musician and very much enjoys working with her colleagues to create and innovate. Tiffany has worked closely with Cavani Quartet, Jupiter Quartet, and Calidore Quartet. She has performed in master classes for Robert Lipsett, Rohan de Silva, and Rodney Friend and has had the privilege to perform with such artists as Rohan de Silva, Jennie Jung, Danielle Belen, Stephen Shipps, and Estelle Choi and Ryan Meehan of the Calidore Quartet. Her areas of travel and performances have included Spain, Ireland, England, Okinawa, and South Korea. Between the years of 2019-2020, Tiffany was generously loaned a beautiful 1709 Alessandro Gagliano violin from The Mandell Collection in Southern California. With it, she competed in the school’s annual concerto competition and was chosen as a finalist.  Tiffany loves to bring music to whatever community she is in in hopes that music will encourage and inspire others.

Teaching Style

Tiffany's journey teaching began early, as early as middle school and high school. During undergraduate and postgraduate studies, Tiffany spent much of her time building a studio of her own and cultivating her skills as a teacher. As she works her way into the field of nursing, she hopes to continue teaching violin since it is one of her passions in life.
