About
Hi there,
I have been playing the piano for nearly fifteen years now. I can teach you how to play the piano from the comfort of your home.
Whether your a beginner, or wanting to further your piano studies, I can help you achieve your musical goals in a welcoming and engaging environment.
I hold a Bachelor of Music majoring in Classical performance from the Australian Institute of Music which I received in March 2017.
I received my grade 8 piano from Trinity College of London in 2013. I received my grade 5 theory from AMEB (Australian Music Education Board) in 2010.
I also studied music fundamentals 1 -4 at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music open academy in 2009.
Currently, I am pursing graduate studies in musicology and performance.
I perform regularly at small community concerts for family and friends.
I am so passionate about providing lessons that are fun, while building a strong foundation of technique, and to inspire the love of music.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is tailored to each individual student according to their learning style and goals. I've taught students for leisure and have taken many students through exams.
I enjoy teaching students of all ages and levels.
It is my goal to provide the best music education for my students. In my lessons, students will learn important components of music including piano technique, repertoire, sight reading, ear training, and theory.
The learning outcomes for my students are to:
Learn to play and perform music in a variety of genres,
Demonstrate technical ability on the piano,
Demonstrate competence in musicianship including aural skills, and knowledge of music theory.
I specialize in one on one lessons and group lessons.
My goals are to inspire the love of music for life.
