About

Trained in piano from childhood.
Cello (degree).
Violin and viola, first college.
Voice all along.
Have specialized in Baroque cello and Early singing at Longy.

Sung and played in Symphonic and Early music groups.

Currently dedicating to basso continuo realization, and all which involves Early interpretative styles, composition and improvisation.

I'm a composer of mixed styles from solos thru symphonic orchestra.

Teaching Style

A unique teaching style that teaches numbered harmony and thorough-bass realization from the beginning on keyboard instruments (piano), opening up to a different relationship with music not jeopardizing what came later.

Focus on Bach and Early styles with refinement of technique (in whatever instrument you're learning or voice).

I do teach later styles, musicians with no Early interest, with an intent of technical refinement, the learning of numbered harmony and the development of sigh-reading skills.

- For the interested, we can walk towards composition, and the first steps to improvisation.

Curriculum

Have been using Keaney, Remes (CPEBach), and Handel materials for continuo, and Fux for counterpoint.
There is a lot to look into, and all sources will be considered.

Numbered harmony was introduced to me in 2012 by composer Alexander Podznyakov, my teacher at the time.
Later,  worked on b-c realization with the sigh-reading of Corelli trio sonatas., for long periods.

Meanwhile I've worked on Bach Little preludes, fugues, inventions, French and English suites, and in the recent couple of years have been working on the WTC.
I do give focus to stylistic interpretation, even on piano (when playing Early music).
Can also help string instrumentalists, as well as singers.
