About
Victor Hugo Rodrigues is a pianist and teacher, holding a bachelor’s degree in Piano from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). He began his piano studies at the age of seven and has since dedicated himself to technical and artistic development, becoming a versatile and experienced musician.
During his academic training, he was mentored by renowned professors such as Dr. Rosiane Lemos, Dr. Viviane Bodaczny, and Dr. Flávia Botelho, and participated in significant festivals like the XIV Goiás Arts Festival and the Entreartes Festival (2019 and 2023). He also honed his skills in masterclasses with distinguished pianists, including Cristina Capparelli, Lúcia Barrenechea, Marina Spoladore, Sylvia Thereza, Aleyson Scopel, and Araceli Chacon.
Currently, he is a student of the internationally acclaimed pianist Fernando Calixto and works as an assistant and teacher at the Fernando Calixto Institute (IFC), where he develops innovative pedagogical projects and shares his passion for music with students of all levels.
In addition to his solo career, Victor Hugo is a member of the LiberUdi Trio and the João-de-barro Duo, performing repertoires that range from classical to Brazilian popular music. His teaching methodology combines solid classical piano techniques with a personalized approach, inspiring students to develop both technical mastery and artistic sensitivity.
