Victoria Saavedra
About
Colombian singer and songwriter based in Brazil for over 15 years, bachelor in Popular Music with an emphasis on singing. I have 20 years of stage experience. I began my studies at the age of 12, and since then, music has been my priority, with my voice taking me to many incredible places around the world. Alongside my music career, my passion for teaching music and vocal technique has been going strong for over a decade.
I aim to help students discover their vocal potential, always respecting each individual's process.
Throughout my career, I've explored various musical styles, with a particular interest in Latin, Afro-Latin, Brazilian music, bossa nova and world music.
Classes are available in English, Spanish, or Portuguese :D
Teaching Style
There’s no single way to learn how to sing—every voice is unique, and so is the process. In my experience, technique and interpretation go hand in hand. The voice is an instrument that relies on the entire body, and learning how to take care of it is crucial. I focus on identifying physical tensions, insecurities, and emotional blocks so students can fully release their voice.
Rhythm is also a key element in my teaching. It’s been a distinctive aspect of my career, and I emphasize it to help students improve their musicality. Whether you’re into pop, Latin, or jazz, mastering rhythm is essential.
Vocal technique is the foundation that allows you to reach your full potential, no matter the genre. My lessons focus on building a healthy, reliable voice through practical exercises while working on repertoire suited to each student's level. My goal is to help you create a phenomenal instrument that takes you wherever you want to go.
