About

I am a Trinity-certified Piano Instructor and the Director of Administration and Academics at ChordsCraft Institute of Music. With over 8 years of experience , I specialize in a high-tech, multi-camera approach to remote pedagogy that ensures a zero-latency, high-fidelity learning environment for my students. Throughout my career, I have mentored over 250+ students globally , including tenures at prestigious institutions like The Brighton Pianist (UK), Furtados School of Music, and Artium Academy, where I was recognized as the youngest instructor to teach the proprietary curriculum of industry legend Louiz Banks. My teaching balances rigorous preparation for Trinity College London and ABRSM exams with modern contemporary improvisation and professional-grade music production.
My career is defined by a commitment to excellence, having successfully certified over 150 students in international board exams (Trinity College London and ABRSM) with consistently high pass rates.
I instruct students of all ages, ranging from young beginners developing foundational dexterity to adults exploring advanced contemporary styles.

Teaching Style

The Virtual Studio Experience On a platform like Lessonface, audio quality is everything. I do not teach using standard, echoey laptop microphones. My virtual classroom is powered by a professional studio setup:

  • High-Fidelity Audio: I play on a Yamaha DGX-670 digital piano routed directly through cinematic, industry-standard sound engines (including Noire and Keyscape). This ensures you hear pristine, concert-hall-quality audio during every single session.

  • Top-Down Visuals: I utilize a multi-camera setup, giving you a perfect, unobstructed overhead view of my hands so you can mirror my technique and fingering precisely.

My Teaching Style & Lesson Dynamics My philosophy revolves around patience, clear communication, and making music theory intensely practical. As an institute director, I don't just teach random songs; I build customized, goal-oriented roadmaps for my students.

  • For Kids & Young Beginners: I keep the energy high and the lessons fun. We focus heavily on building a rock-solid foundation in sight-reading, rhythm, and proper hand posture, ensuring they stay motivated week after week.

  • For Adults & Intermediate/Advanced Players: I understand you might be balancing lessons with a busy schedule. I tailor the curriculum to be a stress-relieving, highly practical experience. We will break down complex theory, explore chord progressions, and get you playing the repertoire you actually love—whether that's cinematic pop, classical fundamentals, or contemporary pieces.

Whether you are starting from absolute zero or preparing for your next grade certification, you will receive a supportive, highly polished, and customized education.

Let's make some music!

Curriculum

My teaching methodology is a hybrid of classical discipline and modern technical innovation. I focus on three core pillars to ensure a well-rounded musical education:

  • Standardized Foundations: I utilize the world-renowned Trinity College London and ABRSM curricula to build essential skills in sight-reading, aural awareness, and technical proficiency.

  • Technical Dexterity & Ergonomics: Drawing from my experience with The Brighton Pianist (UK), I emphasize proper hand posture, finger independence, and biomechanics—using exercises from Hanon—to ensure long-term playing health and precision.

  • High-Fidelity Virtual Learning: I provide an immersive remote learning experience through a multi-camera broadcast setup. Students benefit from top-down views and lighted MIDI key visualizers, allowing for real-time, zero-latency corrections on technique and finger placement.

  • Contemporary Versatility: Beyond classical training, I incorporate contemporary improvisation and cinematic styles, utilizing premium VSTs like Keyscape and Noire to teach students how to achieve a modern, professional sound.
