About

I am a passionate guitarist and teacher with 23 years of playing experience and over 14 years of teaching beginners to intermediate students online. My guitar journey began at the age of 12 with private lessons from several highly skilled and inspiring teachers, where I developed a strong foundation in technique, rhythm, and music theory. These early experiences taught me the importance of personalized instruction — something I now bring to every lesson I teach.

Since 2011, I have provided one-on-one online guitar lessons to students around the world, helping them learn their first chords, strum their favorite songs, and gain confidence as musicians. My lessons are tailored to each student’s goals and interests, combining practical exercises with fun, song-based learning to keep motivation high. My aim is to make guitar learning engaging, clear, and rewarding for every student, no matter their starting point.

Beyond teaching, I have performed extensively with my bands:

  • The Rise — My main performance project, playing regularly at Northern Soul Bar and Kitchen in London, often once a week or every other week over a long period. Notable date: (17/05/2019). Also performed at Luna Bar (17/08/2018).

  • Eyes Wide Shut — The George IV (28/04/2018), Impact Hub Party (15/12/2016).

From 2011 until 2023, I also participated in jam sessions several times a year at respected London music spots including The Blues Bar, The Temple of Art and Music, and The Spice of Life, before relocating to Brazil.

Since 2022, I have worked as a session guitarist for Kansas City–based songwriter and music producer Jim Wagy. I have recorded guitar parts for his songs Showdown, Truth, He’s Still The King, I’ve Missed You, Love Still The Answer, With All I Am, and others. I also co-wrote a song with him titled Love Me Like You Do. This experience has refined my studio skills and versatility across different styles.

Teaching Style

My lessons are built on personalization, clarity, and inspiration. I adapt each session to your unique goals, skill level, and musical tastes — whether you’re a complete beginner learning your first chords or an intermediate player wanting to improve technique, explore the fretboard, or master your favorite songs.

I believe learning guitar should be enjoyable and motivating, so I blend structured skill-building (technique, rhythm, theory, and ear training) with music you genuinely enjoy. You’ll get clear explanations, practical exercises, and real-world applications of musical concepts that keep you progressing and inspired.

Whether you want to jam with friends, write your own songs, or simply play for personal enjoyment, I’ll guide you step-by-step with patience, positivity, and proven methods. My goal is to help you become a confident and expressive guitarist — and to make your musical journey as fun and rewarding as possible.
