About

“I have a passion for music and my greatest goal in life is to share that passion one way or another.” Zach started his musical journey before he could speak with his father starting his ear-training as a toddler.

He’s taught all levels of guitar, piano and voice for several years. He graduated with a Bachelors in Music and Mathematics from Cal State: Long Beach and the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music.

He’s performed in various groups for nearly two decades, headlining in venues across the US such as The House of Blues, Avalon, Hard Rock Hotel and others.

He’s written and recorded songs that have received millions of streams and are used on major network TV/movies. He's worked with artists like MAX, Gnash, Jim Keltner (The Traveling Wilburys, Bob Dylan) and Fred Tacket (Little Feat).

Teaching Style

Every student is unique, so I create a unique lesson plan to fit the interests and ability of each my students. My main focus while teaching is creating a safe and fun environment for my students. While learning a musical instrument or skill requires a fair amount of technical knowledge and discipline, it should also be fun and engaging. You won’t practice if you don’t like what you’re doing! I like to give students tools that allow them to be creative and play around. This gives them an opportunity to naturally develop their own unique musical voice which technical study and practice will only enrich and expand.
