Zhen Huang

Zhen Huang is a talented violist among his generation, and he also established an outstanding reputation across an unusually varied range of performing the activity. Besides his play solo, he is regularly a chamber music player at many music festivals. His passion for chamber music continues to find a variety of outlets. In the summer of 2019, Zhen Huang participated the Heifetz Institute in Virginia. Zhen performed both solo and chamber music at the festival; In 2018, Zhen participated the Lincoln center chamber music lecture, the performance built an excellent reputation. In the summer of 2016 and 2018, Zhen Huang participated the Young Artist Program held by the National Arts center in Canada. Zhen Huang performance several successful chamber concerts during the music festival and work with Maestro Pinchas –Zukerman; Zhen Huang also joined the quartet program held at New York State University, and Zhen Huang also performed both chamber and solo concerts during the music festival; Zhen Huang took part in Xi'an International String Music Festival and performed chamber music in the festival; Zhen Huang joined Easton string music summer festival, and won the third place in viola solo competition. Zhen Huang took part in the viola festival Viva La Viola held by Shanghai Conservatory and then played in the viola chamber orchestra. Zhen Huang played a string quartet concert in the Viva La Viola Festival's opening ceremony in the Shanghai Concert Hall. Zhen Huang participated in Shanghai Broadcast Music Concert held in Shanghai Concert Hall and performed chamber music. He was appointed as the viola section's principal in the orchestra of the High school affiliated to the Shanghai Conservatory when the orchestra performed in the 59th-school anniversary Concert. Zhen Huang took classes from Pinchas Zukerman, Lawrence Dutton, Nobuko Imai, Kim Kashikashan, Thomas Rieb, Mai Motobuchi, and Hongmei Xiao in the past. Zhen Huang was also selected into the Manhattan school of an orchestra to play with Maestro Kurt Masur
