Allison has performed for a wide variety of audiences across the United States. She's performed in the American Choral Director's Association Conference in Memphis, TN and several Allstate choirs in both Louisiana and Florida. Allison was one of the youngest members in the Naples Philharmonic Chorale, and was hand picked to be a paid performer for Trinity-By-The-Cove in Naples, FL. She has sung under choral legend Paul Salamunovich in North Carolina. Allison also sang with the University of Central Florida's University Choir and Chamber Singers, performing works such as Beethoven's 9th Symphony  and Mahler's 2nd Symphony with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.  She also served as a worship leader for First Baptist Orlando. Currently, Allison performs with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and Essential Voices USA in New York. She will be singing at Carnegie Hall with the NY Pops in November.

In addition to the classical music world, Allison is also a musical theatre performer. Allison has starred in productions such as Grease (Sandy) and All Shook Up (Natalie/Ed). She has performed in the internationally recognized Orlando Fringe Festival and just finished a production of Leonard Bernstein's Mass: A Theatre Piece for Singers, Players, and Dancers at the Dr.Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

Teaching Style

As a piano and voice teacher I firmly believe in making music musical. Theory is the foundation that allows for the music to speak to both the performer and audience. I teach the theory, yet I also focus on making the notes on the page come alive. I make a point of including music and styles the student is passionate about. I want each student to discover what music means to them.

Curriculum

Piano students use the Faber Method Books. In addition to the book I supplement additional music, rhythm exercises, and sight reading.

Voice students use whatever music we are working on. Musicnotes.com is a great source to print sheet music cheaply.
