George Patmas

I've been a guitarist for 20 years, started at age 5. I've trained with many instructors and have toured the U.S. multiple times with many bands. 

My other band experiences include guitarist for award winning bands, and a session musician for many other Los Angeles bands.

I was accepted to the Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT) at Musicians Institute, Hollywood CA with a scholarship, in 2014,  as well as accepted into their Honors Ensemble in 2015. Graduating from MI with an associates in guitar performance, and a certificate in independent artist.

My teaching style is technique based. We go over how to navigate around the fretboard through the CAGED System. First understanding the major scale, minor scale, modes, and use of arpeggios. This will enhance and develop your ear training skills, and playing of the guitar.
