Andrew Martelle

Andrew Martelle is an Orange County, California bassist and music educator. Andrew has played professionally with Bill Cunliffe, Freda Payne, and and appears frequently as a guest artist at Disneyland. He plays regularly in Orange County and Los Angeles in a wide variety of musical settings. Andrew also maintains a private bass studio and directs the Martelle Jazz Orchestra, a 17-piece big band of some of the best young talent in the Southern California area.

I stress fundamentals in my lessons, but highly value my students' input on curriculum. I believe that any student can become a great musician, and do my best to stoke the flames of potential and inspiration. Students should expect to need to practice between lessons to take best advantage of our time together.
