Costanza Casullo
About
Hello I'm Costanza! I have been playing classical guitar since I was 10 years old. I then started playing the ukulele and composing music in high school. I am originally from Italy but I studied abroad, gaining my undergraduate degree in Classical Guitar Performance at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London and the Professional Master of Education at Trinity College in Dublin. This means that whilst I trained as a concert artist, my expertise extends to pedagogy and effective teaching strategies. I particularly enjoy teaching children and finding new creative ways to communicate my passion for music.
Teaching Style
1 I am tech-savvy and particularly fond of online learning. For example, I have presented webinars on digital skills and on the use of augmented reality in education. On a more basic note, I can use video conferencing tools and I have a very good mic I use for teaching. This also mean that I would be able to teach you how to compose music using your computer.
2 I have been teaching 1 to 1 classical and acoustic guitar lessons for 5 years. I teach both beginner and advanced students. Having trained as a concert artist, I could also help you with preparing for a performance if that is your goal.
3 I am committed and organised. This means that I would compile a structured learning plan after having assessed your requirements
4 I am a qualified secondary school music teacher. I would be able to help with music theory exam preparation or academic music essay writing.
