Milena Virijevic

I've completed two master degrees (violin and chamber music) on the prestigious Kunstuniversität in Graz, Austria. During my studies I performed mostly classical music, but also film and pop/rock, as a soloist and part of chamber music groups and orchestras. I performed in Austria, Germany,  Slovenia, Serbia, Hungary, China... During the past few years I've been playing as a member of a great new chamber orchestra Muzikon founded in Belgrade,Serbia. Several months ago I passed the audition for Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra in Ljubljana. 

Since high school I've been giving private lessons to younger students. I'm enjoying working with children, helping them master new techniques and compositions, and also giving advices to my colleagues when it comes to preparing recitals and auditions.

I prefer working with students in person, but due to the current situation I believe that a webcam is to us teachers best friend. 

I teach in English, German or Serbian, which is my mother tongue. 

I believe that the most important task for a teacher is to descover what is the best way a student learns and then to ajust their teaching method to a student's needs. Of course we always work on technique, intonation, rhythm, phrase or anything that is necessary or requested.
