Yuhan Niu

A dedicated teacher, Ms. Niu has nearly 10 years of teaching experience, including preparation for CM and ABRSM exams.  She is also an active concert organist and church musician, served as Music Director of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, La Crescenta. Ms. Niu is the recipient of the 2023 DAAD Prize for International Students and Doctoral Candidates (Preis für Internationale Studierende und Doktoranden).

Organist, pianist harpsichordist and recording engineer, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Industry with a minor in piano performance, a Master of Music in Organ Performance at University of Southern California, and Konzertexamen in Orgel with “Summa cum Laude” at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, Germany. 

*Solo recitals: Ms. Niu has given recitals at venues including Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption in San Francisco, Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angeles in Los Angeles, St. Paul Episcopal Cathedral in San Diego and St. Edmund’s Episcopal Church, San Marino. Highlights of her concert engagements in Germany include solo recitals at Klosterkirche Fürstenfeld, Bayern, the Schöneberger Orgelzyklus in Berlin, the Stadthagen Orgelsommer at St. Martini Kirche, the Lüneburg Orgelsommer at St. Nikolai Kirche Lüneburg, and Podium der Jungen in Hauptkirche St. Jacobi, Hamburg.
