Vanessa O'Connor

I am an Australian concert pianist and  Conservatoire professor based in Northern Italy.  I can teach in either English or Italian (or both if you want to learn a language).

I have a Master Degree in Performing Arts from the Conservatoire of Modena, Italy and I gained my Bachelor at the Melba Conservatoire in Melbourne, Australia. I also have a Master of Education (Primary school teaching).

Currently, I teach piano at the Modena Conservatoire and I am also the Professor of English. 

When I am not teaching, you can find me preparing for concerts around Europe as a solo recitalist and collaborative pianist.

Aside from my University studies, I have also completed the first level of Suzuki teacher training, and this approach has really helped me to teach very young students with impressive results. I am familiar with the AMEB and ABRSM curriculums, plus university entrance auditions and exams in Australia and also Italy.
