About
I have studied with amazing professors and musicians throughout my college and professional career and am excited to share everything I have learned!
I believe the best way to excel in music is to put emphasis on the student's interest. Unlike other teachers, I formulate each student's curriculum based on their interests. - Whether that is playing along to their favorite pop songs, learning to sing and play, improvise, or write their own music -
I have vast experience songwriting, producing music, performing, and improvising.
Looking forward to meet anybody who is interested! :)
Teaching Style
Learning music should be fun and inviting for all students. Therefore, I put an emphasis on patience and and positive reinforcement.
The most important thing that a teacher can do for a student is to create a path for the student that works for them, receiving the information and guidance that they need at the right time. My teaching method ensures this happens.
I firmly believe that each student learns very differently so "teaching by the book" is usually not an effective practice. Instead, I differentiate lessons and instructions based on the student's needs and interests.
