Hello! My name is RAIGN. I am a critically acclaimed singer-songwriter, producer, and vocal producer signed to Sony Music publishing.

I have written songs released by major label artists in pop, rock, urban, and EDM, including Rita Ora, Ty Dolla $ign, Jesse McCartney, Will Sparks, Priyanka Chopra, Tulisa, Dimension, as well as releasing my own records, which have been featured on many TV and movie soundtracks including The Vampire Diaries, The 100, Younger, and the official trailer for The Hunger Games; A Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes. 

Before moving to America and becoming a recording artist in 2012, I studied vocal performance, music theory and jazz clarinet to grade 6 level, at Trinity Guildhall in London. I have robust classical music training to add to my 14 years of experience writing and performing songs. I also have extensive experience teaching and tutoring students of all ages. 

Hello there! Making music is my life passion, and the only reason I have managed to turn my passion into my career is because I was lucky enough to have some incredible mentors, teachers and collaborators along the way.

Knowing how valuable these mentors were for me and my career progression, I have always wanted to give back to the community. I really enjoy coaching others on how to find their way in music.

I believe everyone can sing and everyone can be creative; it just needs to be unlocked. Natural-born talent needs to be nurtured with skill and technique.

I am trained professionally in Speech Level Singing, Classical Music, and Music Theory but I also have 14 years of real-life experience in a recording studio and 20 years experience performing on stages of all sizes, which is a totally different skill set.

I am also a multi-platinum vocal producer and have vocal-produced superstars like Rita Ora.

I can help you bring your voice to life as a complete beginner or help you edit your technique as a professional. I have a deep understanding of the anatomy and physiology behind singing and have found that to be very useful over the years in terms of keeping my voice healthy. 

As an acclaimed songwriter, I have been in thousands of sessions and have learned many songwriting skills, skills that cannot be learned in school. I absolutely love sharing these skills, tips, and techniques with my students in a digestible and fun way!
