About
Anastacia Tolstonog
As an experienced and passionate piano teacher from Ukraine, living in both Ukraine and the UK, I am dedicated to guiding students on their musical journeys. With a solid educational foundation from the Saratov Conservatory in Russia and extensive performance experience, I bring a rich and diverse background to my teaching. My lessons are tailored to meet the individual needs and goals of each student, whether you are a beginner eager to start your musical adventure or an advanced student aiming to refine your skills.
I have had the privilege of performing as a soloist with philharmonic orchestras across Ukraine, including the Poltava, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kherson, and Uzhorod philharmonics. My talent has also graced international stages in cities such as Vienna, Palermo, and Amsterdam. These experiences not only honed my performance skills but also enriched my teaching approach, allowing me to offer students insights drawn from real-world musical experiences.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes a holistic approach to music education. In addition to traditional piano repertoire, I incorporate elements of music theory, ear training, and sight-reading into my lessons. This comprehensive approach not only enhances technical proficiency but also fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation of music.
Beyond my role as a performer and educator, I am deeply committed to preserving the legacy of Ukrainian composer Victor Kosenko. I have lectured about his works at conservatories in Slovakia and the Netherlands and completed an internship in performance and music lecturing at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy in Kyiv.
Join me on LessonFace and embark on a journey through the world of classical music. Together, we will explore the beauty and joy that music brings, helping you to develop your musical abilities and gain a lasting love for this timeless art form.
