Lia Harutyunyan

Hi everyone I am Lia from Armenia. I graduated from Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas, and have participated in numerous music competitions and festivals, including the ''Tsinandali Festival'' as a flutist in the ''Pan-Caucasian Youth Orchestra''. I have had the privilege of taking master classes with acclaimed flutists such as Samuel Coles, Agata Igras and Maria Fedotova. I am continuously striving to broaden my musical knowledge and achieve success in my solo performances.
My interests primarily revolve around music. I am passionate about learning new musical styles and techniques, and teaching others the skills I have acquired. I also enjoy exploring different cultures and their music. I take great pleasure in playing with different groups and discovering new sounds. 

I have an experience of teaching flute at both the public music school, as well as providing private lessons to students of all ages. I have a Master’s Degree in Music Education and a certification in flute instruction. My teaching methodology focuses on providing a supportive and encouraging environment for students to learn in, while also utilizing a variety of teaching strategies,and more to ensure that each student is able to reach their full potential.
I also emphasize on teaching music theory and the basics of music notation in order to give students a better understanding of the music they are playing. I also strive to foster a deep appreciation for music in my students, and to give them the skills and confidence to pursue their love of music.
