Mattia Ciarmoli

Mattia asked why I was trying to learn Italian and he was able to tailor his lessons for my particular needs. (A trip to Italy in September). I am doing Duolingo and Memrise, and he supplements my meager learning with pronunciation tips, culture and history. He has also suggested many ways I can learn outside of apps. Passive learning by listening to Italian music and films. Talking to myself as I go about my day. We have met five times so far. I look forward to working with him until my trip. And maybe after because I am sure I will want to travel to Italy many more times! Mattia is also able to explain the differences between English and Italian in terms of figures of speech and idiomatic phrases. He is very funny and our time goes by very quickly.

Mattia is an extremely patient and cheerful teacher, an excellent instructor for a first time student. My child had no previous musical experience, and Mattia worked with him to learn the basics, even when he forgot his drum pad at his other parent's home. Mattia was flexible with the instruction time, and you can tell that he simply enjoys the subject and sharing his knowledge with others. Happily recommend!

Mattia has been patient and very helpful in getting my 11-year-old daughter started drumming. He's been flexible in working with the music she likes. She has so much fun... she tells me that she doesn't even feel like she's in a lesson!

Mattia is a good teacher that teaches you everything you are going to need to be a good drumer. he gives you exercises for homework that really help if you want to get good fast. Over all he is a good instructor.

Mattia has been such a fantastic drum teacher for my little Arianna! She is only 5 and doing this lesson online - it’s amazing what Mattia has been able to accomplish with her! She loves the class and we definitely will be doing more and more lessons with him. 5 star instructor and so reasonably priced - couldn’t ask for a better instructor, as he goes way beyond what’s expected and helps answer any question.

Mattia was great!!! Instruction was terrific and he emphasized so much form and structure so that in the long run Arianna would have a stable foundation. And that’s hard to explain to a 5 year old not to hit the drums and instead let the stick do the work for you.
