Livio Segnini

After 23 years of experience as a musician, being 14 of them as a teacher, I've been able to attend students from all ages and levels, helping them to reach their goals with the guitar: from teaching them their first song ever, so they can play only for themselves in their rooms, to helping them playing live with a band or even becoming professionals. In fourteen year as a teacher, I taught in schools like Bateras Beat (the largest music school franchise in Brazil) as well as countless private lessons. 
I've also studied in renowned Brazilian institutions, such as the Souza Lima Music Conservatory and the Sao Paulo Municipal School of Music.

My mission as a teacher is to bring to the student a great experience and nourish their relationship with the guitar.

As a musician, I have a wide range of experience, having played with Blues and Rock bands and even an Electric Guitar Orchestra since 2008 on stages such as Bourbon Street Music Club, SESC Vila Mariana and on stages such as the Mai Fest in Sao Paulo - Brazil.

I also studied singing, having being part of a 'Bastien und Bastienne' (Mozart's opera) montage, songwriting and I produce music for media as well.

My teaching style is centered around making things musical as soon as possible. I provide exercises that I created, which already sound musical from the beginning, helping students stay interested and progress toward a concrete goal. We’ll also work on repertoire based on the students' musical tastes, touching on theory when needed or if the student is interested.
