Kyle is an up and coming young artist based in Indianapolis IN. He plays in a Jazz Big Band, combos, in Musical Theater shows, and a R&B band. His specialties lie in Jazz, Rock/Country, and Hip Hop/ R&B.
Teaching Style
In private drum lessons, Kyle places an emphasis on the key tools for all successful drummers. These include Style Diversity, Reading ability, Rhythmic understanding, Timing, Precision, and Creativity.
Curriculum
There is no one size fits all when it comes to music lessons. Kyle provides a customized experience for the needs of each student. The primary books he teaches from are Syncopation, Funky Primer, and the Art of Bop. Kyle's lessons have a strong emphasis on conceptual understanding, and connecting the dots between lessons.
