Contrabassoon and bassoon player with the Noord Nederlands Orkest, with a vast experience freelancing in orchestras such as the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester Hamburg, Orchestre National de Lille, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Orquestra Gulbenkian  among many others, Winner of the first "Low BB Cluster Contrabassoon Competition" in Italy 2024, I also have experience teaching, having substituted Simon van Holen in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam for a whole semester, several masterclasses in Portugal and a book published, the "Contrabassoon Method"

I pay attention to the student's goals and wishes, I assess the strengths and points to be improved and focus on helping the student grow in a way that is both encouraging and motivating. It is my responsibility that the student feels challenged in a positive way, and that the improvements are constant. I try to find the repertoire that best expresses the strengths of the student and help improve on the next steps the student must take. I also focus on a good breathing and posture, tendon and muscle health.
