Hello! I'm Leeman Smith, a dedicated textile artist and illustrator based in Raleigh. My journey with textile arts began as a personal exploration, and now I’m excited to share my passion through teaching. In my Small Tapestry Weaving Workshop, I guide students step-by-step through the basics of weaving, using simple, everyday materials like cardboard looms and household tools. Together, we'll explore the interplay of color and texture, creating tapestries that are both unique and meaningful. My goal is to help you discover the joy of weaving, while giving you the skills and confidence to continue crafting your own woven masterpieces at home.
