Miguel Lopez

I am a bandoneon player and guitarist. I was part of the Cuarteto Cedrón for 11 years and I have been working as a teacher for over 20 years. I initially trained in Mendoza with the maestro Aníbal Appiolazza and continued my studies in Buenos Aires with Gustavo Mozzi in harmony and Adrián Abonizio in composition. At the same time, I developed my career as part of different groups.

Soy bandoneonista y guitarrista, forme parte del Cuarteto Cedrón durante 11 años y llevo mas de 20 años trabajando como docente. Me forme inicialmente en Mendoza con el maestro Aníbal Appiolazza y continué mis estudios en Buenos Aires con Gustavo Mozzi en armonía y Adrián Abonizio en composición, paralelamente desarrollaba mi carrera formando parte de diferentes grupos.
 

As for the classes, they are dynamic and vary with each student, taking into account their needs and concerns. In this way, we address technique, musical language, theory, reading, improvisation, as well as the possibility of working with instruments as accompaniments to the voice (playing and singing). Those who already have previous knowledge and wish to delve deeper into certain musical aspects, leaving aside others that do not suit their interests, can also participate in this path. For example, there are those who feel more comfortable studying music from a more auditory perspective than a theoretical one, or vice versa. Everything is valid and I believe in the multiple paths to study music. The needs and objectives are very diverse depending on the age of the person, and I also emphasize this: it is never too late to study, because studying is infinite. The way of appreciating music, of studying it, is a path of its own without age or conditions. The classes are a guide to get started.

Con respecto a las clases estas son dinámicas y varían con cada aprendiz teniendo en cuenta sus necesidades e inquietudes, de esta manera abordamos la técnica, el lenguaje musical, la teoría, la lectura la improvisación como también la posibilidad de trabajar con los instrumentos como acompañantes de la voz (tocar y cantar). En este camino también pueden ser participes quienes ya cuentan con conocimientos previos y desean profundizar solo en determinados aspectos musicales dejando de lado otros que no concuerdan con sus intereses, por ejemplo hay quienes se sienten mas cómodos estudiando la música desde un lugar mas auditivo que teórico o viceversa, pues todo es valido y creo en los múltiples caminos para estudiar la música. Las necesidades y metas son muy diversas dependiendo las edades de la gente y en esto también hago hincapié, nunca es tarde para estudiar, pues el estudio es infinito. La manera de apreciar la música, de estudiarla, es un camino propio sin edad ni condiciones. Las clases son una guía para iniciarse
