About

With over 60 students taught in the past 7 years and 4 years of teaching experience in Boston, I am a dedicated piano teacher specializing in classical music. My passion for music and commitment to teaching equip my students with a deep understanding of piano techniques and repertoire. I aim to create a nurturing, inspiring environment where each student’s needs and goals are met through well-planned lessons. My comprehensive approach encourages not only technical proficiency but also musicality and an appreciation for music in general.

In addition to teaching, I have extensive performance experience, ranging from solo recitals in the U.S. (Boston, New York, Connecticut), Greece, Italy, Australia and Puerto Rico,  to collaborations with chamber musicians and ensembles such as the Charles River Wind Ensemble. This diverse background allows me to offer students valuable insights into stage presence, performance preparation, and overcoming challenges like anxiety, stage fright and lack of confidence.

Teaching Style

Personalized approach: Tailored lessons to suit each student’s individual learning style.
Holistic development: Focus on both technical skills and artistic growth.
Technical foundation: Focus on posture, hand positioning, and finger technique.
Structured lessons: Theory, ear training and performance coaching in each session, if desired.
Performance preparation: Guide students on stage presence and managing performance anxiety.
Constructive feedback: End each lesson with feedback and a clear practice plan.
Motivating attitude: Passionate and enthusiastic teaching style inspires students to stay engaged.

Curriculum

Always depending on the level of course, I aim to build a repertoire that the student wants to play and simultaneously will improve his technical ability. If it is a beginner however I will start of with the very basics, depending on Faber books and at the same time working on basic scales, theory and ear training. My aim for younger children is to make them absorb as much information as possible and keep them hooked/interested for the next lesson!
