Beatrice Arizza

I am a passionate cellist with strong creativity. I have solid experience in the concert and operatic fields and am also dedicated to teaching, continually deepening my understanding of various teaching methodologies. If I had to choose three distinctive traits that define me: determination, positive energy, and rationality!  

If you'd like to know more about my educational background: I earned the "Vecchio Ordinamento" Diploma at the "G. Verdi" Conservatory in Como. I further refined my skills at the Fondazione S. Cecilia in Portogruaro under the guidance of maestros Enrico Bronzi, Damiano Scarpa, and Stefano Cerrato, the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole with the Trio di Parma, the Milano Music Masterschool with maestro Luca Magariello, and I attended the advanced orchestral training course at the Accademia Teatro alla Scala.  

Alongside my musical studies, I graduated from a Linguistic High School, which provided me with excellent general and linguistic skills. These have been particularly useful during work trips and for teaching lessons in foreign languages.  

My professional experience is primarily in chamber and orchestral music, but in recent years, I have also been specializing in teaching. I consider teaching fundamental for passing on the same advice my teachers gave me, which helped me grow both as a musician and as a well-rounded individual.

My style of teaching is based on each student I have in front of me. I try to start from their interests, in order to reach the goal they want to reach. If you think you can't achieve a result, I'm here to help you develop your patience, teach you an effective study method, and motivate you to always do your best and believe in yourself. With patience and dedication, you can always achieve a result, no matter how big or small it is!
