About

Hello! I’m Giselle, a 24-year-old violinist from Bogotá, Colombia. I am currently finishing my bachelors degree in music with specialization in violin performance and I am part of the first violins of the Film's Dreams Symphony Colombia, an orchestra dedicated to professionally perform and record film music. I have 8 years of professional experience and 5 years in teaching in different on-line and in-person schools as well as in private lessons where I have taught violin proficiency and musical literacy. I am a Suzuki violin teacher with a certificate on Suzuki philosophy and Violin book n.1

I believe that a healthy society is built through education, shaping well-rounded individuals rather than just skilled ones. This commitment drives my continuous learning and equips me with the tools to support your musical and personal growth. In my classes, you can expect good communication and relationship-building grounded in patience and empathy.

I look forward to seeing you in class to work on your unique journey!

Teaching Style

Everyone learns differently, and I believe that no single teaching approach works for all students. That's why at the beginning of the process I will always ask you about your own goals.

My focus and expertise area are complete beginners. For them, I use the Suzuki method and some complementary repertoire as needed. I teach musical literacy for you to be able to read and comprehend the music you're playing.

Together we will explore your potential through engaging lessons tailored just for you. I focus on practical techniques, clear goals, and making real progress in every session. Whether you're picking up the violin for the first time (no matter your age) or building on what you know. I’m here to help you play with confidence and enjoy the process.
Plus, I can teach in Spanish or English - Perfect if you want to practice a new language!

But most importantly, I want you to enjoy what you're playing, so we will work on those techniques to be able to play the songs you enjoy in the best possible way!
