Mike Campese

Mike Campese is a guitar virtuoso, he is an all-around music performer, and a session artist competent in many musical styles, electric and acoustic.

He is best known for being a member of the multi-platinum group, The Trans-Siberian Orchestra and received a gold record for his work.  He is a honors graduate from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA.  Mike has been featured in many national guitar magazines such as Guitar Player, Guitar World, Guitar One, Premier Guitar, Axe Magazine and Guitar Club in Italy.  Mike wrote lessons for Italy’s top magazines and had his own monthly guitar column in Italy's Axe Magazine for many years and has appeared on the cover. 

Mike has played with and shared the stage with many well-known artists, he has released 11 solo albums in his name, the latest titled, "Reset," and tours all over the world.  Mike is a versatile musician who describes his style as “Rock Fusion” and writes vocal and instrumental arrangements both electric and acoustic.

As well as playing concerts, Mike hosts masterclasses all around the world.  In the fall of 2022, Mike did a series of masterclasses and a live show for Abbey Road Institute in Paris, France.

In 2023 Mike was inducted into the Thomas Edison Music Hall of Fame in New York.  

Even though Mike is a composer and performs throughout the world, he has been teaching privately for 30+ years.

Mike is a very versatile musician teacher and can adapt to any situation or style.  The student can be of any age or level and into any style of music.  Each lesson is catered to each student appropriate to their level and particular focus.  My goal is to help each student and correct any issues they may have, similar to a doctor.

If you have never played guitar before and want to learn basics or your favorite song, this is great as well.  I teach the basics, your favorite songs, music theory, scales, reading music, writing your own music, etc. 

If your goal is to become a shredder, I can teach you how to shred and play fast with the best technical proficiency.  Whatever you goal is, I am here to help.
