About

  • Several years of experience in teaching violin and viola.
  • Bachelor's and Master's degrees in music, along with a Master's in Education from the University of Montreal.
  • Expertise in teaching individuals aged 5 and above.
  • Professional musician as violist and violinist for more than 25 years
  • Adults are welcome! It's never too late to learn music.

I am a graduate of two faculties at the Université de Montréal. I hold a bachelor's and a master's degree in music, specializing in performance, where I studied under Jutta Puchhammer-Sédillot. I also hold a graduate diploma (DESS) in education management and a master's degree in education.

I was a member of the Sherbrooke Symphony Orchestra from 1999 to 2009 and served as principal viola of the orchestra for several years. During that time, I also performed with Symphonia de Lanaudière, Les Grands Ballets, the Orchestre de la Francophonie, Ensemble Amati, the National Arts Centre Orchestra (NACO), the Laval Symphony Orchestra, and the Quebec Symphony Orchestra. I have received excellence scholarships and numerous provincial and national awards as both a soloist and a chamber musician. After a serious car accident in 2000s, I had to step away from playing in orchestras for several years. However, in recent years, I have returned to performing with various ensembles, both as an orchestral musician and, more frequently, as a chamber musician.

Passionate about music education, I have dedicated many years to teaching both viola and violin to students of all ages and skill levels.

My mentorship has inspired countless young artists and amateurs, guiding them toward higher levels of performance and deepening their love for music.
