About
I am a Baylor University graduate who studied Music Education with a Concentration in Voice. Having received an incredible wealth of knowledge during my program and having prior experience teaching, I went on to be certified in multiple states as a teacher of Music. With it, I have been further privileged to pursue my love of not only teaching, but also being able to work with students in general, regardless of age or ability level. Coupled with an understanding of pedagogy and the psychological processes behind learning, I have grown to believe that an understanding of music impacts all as we continue to pursue growth as well-rounded, holistic individuals.

Teaching Style
As a teacher, I believe that it's important to help students feel uplifted in their pursuit toward their individual goals. With this stance, I intentionally strive to work and teach in a way that cultivates confidence and allows students to work toward their goals and operate at their unique potential. I primarily teach online, and due to having taught from Kindergarten to professional musicians, I tend to focus in on the students' unique goals while strengthening musicianship.
Curriculum
My teaching style is a multi-pronged approached that is tailored aorund the particular goals of each student. While increasing a general stance of musicianship, I aim to foster technical proficiency as well as cultivate a strong sense of self-expression. With this, lessons tend to incorporate skill training as well as intentional application of skills into songs that the student is interested in working on, whether it be for enjoyment, audition, or for performance.
