About
About Me
Hi, I’m Trésor Otshudi—a passionate and experienced music educator, performer, and conductor with over 20 years in the music industry. I offer lessons in voice, piano, guitar, music theory, composition, songwriting, conducting, and music history for students of all levels.
My musical journey has taken me through a wide range of genres, including gospel, R&B, classical, jazz, soul, Congolese rumba, and la chanson française. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Trinity Western University and I'm currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting. I’ve also earned certificates in Musical Theatre and Business & Marketing.
In addition to teaching, I lead multiple gospel choirs, conduct workshops, and perform internationally. I specialize in helping students build confidence, develop solid technique, and find joy in creative expression.
My Teaching Approach
I tailor each lesson to the student’s goals, level, and musical interests. Whether you're just starting out or preparing for performances, auditions, or recording projects, I’ll help you grow through structured lessons that combine technique, creativity, and musicality.
For voice students, I focus on breath support, tone production, and stylistic interpretation. Instrumental students will gain strong foundations in technique and theory. For songwriters and composers, I guide you through form, lyric writing, harmony, and arranging. Conducting lessons cover score study, gesture, and rehearsal techniques.
My goal is to make learning music inspiring, empowering, and fun!
Let’s Make Music Together
I’m here to support your growth, whether you're learning for fun, for worship, for school, or as part of your artistic journey. I look forward to helping you unlock your potential and reach your musical goals.
Teaching Style

Whether you’re just beginning or have years of experience, I meet you where you are and guide you forward with patience, encouragement, and care. I believe that learning music should be a joyful and empowering experience, and I do my best to create a welcoming space where every student feels heard, valued, and motivated to grow.
