My name is Javier Bagalá. I am a professional guitarist and online guitar teacher with over 30 years of experience teaching adults from beginner to advanced levels.
I studied at the Conservatory of Music of Buenos Aires and trained with renowned teachers such as Marcelo Roascio, Fico De Castro, Omar Garayalde and Samuel Mielgo. I am also a founding member of the metal band Nepal, with multiple recorded albums, and I continue working as an active musician and solo artist.
Since 1990, I have helped hundreds of adult students start from zero, return to guitar after many years, regain confidence, and achieve real musical progress with a clear, realistic and motivating method. Many of my students started with no musical background and today enjoy playing full songs, jamming with friends and even recording their own music.
Teaching Style
My lessons are specially designed for adult students who want to enjoy learning guitar without pressure, at their own pace and with visible results. Lessons are 100% personalized according to your level, your goals and the style of music you enjoy, including rock, blues, pop, metal, jazz and classical.
My teaching approach is clear and step by step, with practical daily exercises that fit your available time, clear explanations, no unnecessary theory and full focus on enjoyment, confidence and real music.
My students typically learn to play their favorite songs, improve their rhythm and timing, and gain confidence to play on their own.
If you are a complete beginner:
You will learn basic chords, rhythm, proper posture, simple strumming patterns and start playing easy real songs within the first weeks, without stress or frustration.
If you are returning after many years:
We will safely recover technique, fix bad habits, regain confidence, improve timing and sound, and get you playing real music again.

Lesson packs are flexible and do not expire.
All lessons include learning materials such as PDFs, tabs, audio files, backing tracks and weekly guidance.
Curriculum
My teaching method is flexible and tailored to each student’s level, goals, and musical interests. I combine ear training, technique development, theory, improvisation, and repertoire in a way that is both structured and inspiring.
