Jennifer Davies-Reazor

Jennifer Davies-Reazor is a mixed media artist residing in Newark, Delaware. Her work is inspired by mythology, folklore, and the natural world. Her concentrations in art school were metals and painting, then she discovered ceramics - and now finds inspiration in the “mixed media” moniker, exploring ways to combine paper, metal, beads and clay. As a full time working artist, Jenny divides her time between her studio practice, and teaching art journaling online, which she initiated in 2020. Jenny exhibits her work locally and in the region. .Jenny's teaching style is dynamic, and engaging. Her tone is conversational, and personable. Jenny prefers to demonstrate the application of techniques and materials, and have her students work independently - making their own informed decisions as they work. Feedback is informative, constructive, encouraging experimentation and expression. When working on a piece, she likes to balance planning and composition with spontaneity and responding to a piece as it unfolds. Jenny is a supportive instructor, sharing her knowledge and encouraging her students.
